i am the captain of this ship, as the rain pours, i feel my tears run down my face, all is lost. the waves toss me back and forth as if they where alive, laughing as i suffer, i lie on the deck, looking up at the stairs in hopes of some kind of safety from this nightmare, i am the captain, the lone survivor of this ship, i scream as splinters puncture my beating heart, my lungs fill with water as the ocean awaits patiently to claim yet another lost soul. i yell 'I AM THE CAPTAIN', a wave of relaxation hits me, i feel calm, no more pain, no more screaming, my heart beat slows. i see a blinding light in front of me, my life flashes before my eyes. i see my childhood friends laughing and playing, my family, the good things, the bad things, everything leading up to this very moment. theirs no saving me, i am a lost soul, the one the ocean has been patiently waiting for, i came to except death as i feel him breathing heavily on the back of my neck, i lie motionless with my ship slowly sinking to the jaws of death. im not afraid anymore, my heart beat slows ever so slowly, i hear a strange noise, as if someone was beating on something, then i hear my name, somebody screaming my name, im lost, confused, and cold i dont know what its is but it sounds familiar, my vision goes black as my heart stops. my mother breaks into my restroom as the bathtub i was in cracks with my body floating motionless in the water. the ocean claims yet another lost soul.
