Capture Me Poem by Brianca Roberts

Capture Me

Rating: 5.0

Nevermore do my fantasies be
Of only me, myself or I.

Lately only of me and you…
Transcending as one alongside the sea

And as I am in need…
You then for me seem to breathe…
Never too far away are you to please
Nor are you to ever to rescue me.

Who ever else it were whom I once was…
Is for certain lost, in such de-sensitivity…
To the unwarranted criticisms…
of my love, for you,
Endlessly.

Therefore do you think of me as free?
As I am put on display, to my deep dismay…
In me you discover such authenticity…

With no surprise, still from you I hide…
The only blame be your gaze,
Of the undeniable that be my eyes

Therefore is being left behind,
Forevermore, throughout my mind…
For will I now surrender,
Surrender to what's long before been written…
Has this long been destiny to find?

Guiding me as if in this phase, I'm blind.
However in you I trust…
So I never mind what is you hide.
In need of protection as I have lost it,
Am I haunted?
Save me from diversion so unkind,
And hate when it seems so constant.
I fell asleep in a dream, so it seems…
Even though these things by me,
Are never flaunted.
Proclaiming such change…
Yet none different to what lives,
Living so alive inside my conscience.

Showing of things by me,
I'm so careless to show…
Are you reaching for me?
Although ever so faintly,
As I have seen you glow
You feel what be creeping though me,
As You seem to know.

When I am beneath you,
Will you stay standing over me?
As I am on my knees, for I crave you…
In my hunger, will you feed me, completely?

Whatever shall rise, to defeat me?
And do your binds aim to keep me?
Can you master and release me,
And only to better or repeat me…
As I beg for your capture of me?

Happen to me, intrigue me…
And as I confide, believe me…
I be yours just as long…
as you receive me.
