Care - Poem by Janet Norris Bangs

Care now lies
Where care was not,
Shoved in the corner
But not forgot -
Care, in the corner

I would call Laughter
Out of the trees;
But Laughter has bird eyes,
And Laughter sees
Care, in the corner.
