Caring Poem by LaVerne Negro

Caring

Rating: 1.0

It takes so little to make one smile
A hug or a kiss a pat on the back
Makes it all worth while
The costs are free. The rewards are great
To lift ones spirits before its too late
To a shut-in whose activities have come to a sudden end
Life takes on new meaning, when one knows
he has a friend.
So with a smile on your face
Give a knock on the door, a extend your hand
Give a hug and a kiss, make them happy

They're amongst the living once more
The best medicine money can't buy
It works wonders to the afflicted
Who see life passing them by.
