Carry Me Out Poem by Holly Somer

Carry Me Out

Rating: 0.5

Take me away from the alarm that hurts my head that I throw and break when I get out of bed
Dragging my feet, walking to the sink
Taking pills to help me think
Carry me out of the way
Help me have a better day
Give me a plan to move me along fast
Forgetting the mysery I went through in the past
Once all is clear and new
I'll find a way to thank you
For what you made me feel
to help me go on
For you've carried me out when I did wrong
