Catch Me If You Can.. Poem by Peter S. Quinn

Catch Me If You Can..

Catch me if you can
said the wind to the rose,
I am just a wintry span
coming as it goes.
Flying on so free
on the lake and in the clouds
everywhere I am free,
among the clouds and the crowds
I am simply just me!

Catch me and fly
be so carefree and full of flow,
go low and go high
everywhere you go!
So much drift inside to give
everywhere and turning,
be with me and live
in your way and learning.

Come with me as I go
let your leaves fall on,
as I am here a wintry blow
till the autumn is all gone.
Catch me and come and fly
I am of all season,
come with me to the high
without any reason.

Catch me if you can
said the wind to the rose,
here I am, here I am!
I am the wind that blows
and blows.
