Catching Arrows Poem by Christian Connor Schwantes

Catching Arrows

So now we wait in anticipation for things to happen
We keep on spinning
Shooting of sparks into the misty night
Stereotypical
The fog is thickening, my hands keep mimicking
The idea of holding you
Girl I love you so
But I know it’s time to let you go
