Caught In Your Tide Poem by Cynthia Grier

Caught In Your Tide

Rating: 2.0

caught in your tide
grasped angrily greedily
pummeled and tossed
discarded onto your harsh shore
against the empty shells
freedom an intangible dream
spiraling dizzily beyond reach
does not the crab crawl and claw the sand?
even as you pound at his insignificance
surely he will until the end of time
only to be forever
caught in your tide
