Causality And Time Poem by Ryan Sanders

Causality And Time

Standing here, I am
An event separate from time
Wrapped within the folds of causality
Drifting around me, time is
Existing with a separate entity
Which is you, which is me
Products, of causality

Man made, this concept of
Time was, an invention by
Inquisitive minds, no answers
As to why it was done

Everything we do is separate from
The concept of time, a prisoner
Of the big and little hand I am,
An idea of the mind, Time is
Nothing more, nothing less

This is where reality lies
The events that lead to events, Causality
The observation and relation of cause and effects
Of this temporary world, lead to
An evolution of the mind and spirit
To be repeated in the next…
