Cave Down
digging
with my hands in the soil
crawling
through the black mud
pushing
to clear the way ahead
away
from the light behind
toward
the dark and darker
close
struggle to the center
inside
this cave deep and dark
outside
at the edge of the cliff
downward
as return to the light
