Celebrating His Glory Poem by Joseph Blitch

Celebrating His Glory

Rating: 5.0

Early morning, before dawning light of day,
A Whip-o-will is heard calling for light’s ray.
The host of stars seen twinkling in the night,
With dawning light seem to have taken flight.

Awaking from rest both my spirit and soul,
Giving thanks for the good a day shall hold.
A totally perfect day God doth always make,
The result depends on the attitude we take.

One wants cold, one hot, some rain, some sun,
Some willing to work, some only to have fun.
Here is good wisdom found time and again,
Be content with the environment you are in!

Pray for the necessities of all, foe and friend,
Then let go and let God all our needs attend.
All our necessity, He Knows from the start,
Praising and taking His blessings is our part.

Fashioned in stillness by God’s crafty hand,
His glory to be celebrated by this lowly man.
Creating it all, He knows how things work best,
Celebrate His glorious creation and be at rest!

A beautiful exaltation and devotional piece of poetry, well articulated and subtly penned with spiritual insight. A poem acknowledging the OMNIPRESENCE OMNISCIENCE OMNIPOTENCE Nature of God. A lovely poem with good rhyme scheme. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
