CELEBRATION OF FORGIVENESS
CELEBRATION OF FORGIVENESS
A continual celebration of forgiveness
Should reign in the Christians' heart
A rejoicing spirit of thankfulness
For what His Spirit doth impart
Intertwined in fellowship
My blessed Lord and I
Face each day's commitments
With power that's from on High.
Faith filled steps of service
He knows the path I take
He knows I'm trusting fully
For He maketh no mistake
The gentle Spirits' leading
In that I safely rest
No ruffling of my feathers
By any humans' breath.
But deep the bounds of mercy
How full, the heart of grace
Retreat I to my Fathers' arms
I'm strengthened in that Place.
O love, so pure and tender
Compassionate and strong
I stand firm in Thy loving Kindness
That Place for which I long.
There, exuberant with silence
But inwardly in prayer
I take my burdens to the Lord
I'm swift to leave them there.
Moment by moment enjoying
That fellowship divine
And marvel at the thought that I
Am His and He is mine.
