Chair Poem by Madhabi Banerjee

Chair

Rating: 4.8

I was well in posion in mbhyy mother's womb
therewas no light no estate
after stipulated period I enter into a new world
With a deed of agreementfor a few years
There is light that is the place of struggle
There is right that is a chair
And being the weaker section of this society
One and all want to uproot my chair.

One fine moment furtherance of contract time is over
I have to quit my claim of chair
Now I will enter into a new world
There is no diversity.
This world is my own world.

'Now I will enter into a new world There is no diversity. This world is my own world' - did you mean world after retirement from work (chair) or after end of life? Whatever, the poem is excellent. I am quite impressed.

So nicely envisioned about birth and rebirth and the power of chair. Most stunning and intensive. A beautiful poem I like most. Thanks for sharing......10
