Changing Vocabulary Poem by Satish Verma

Changing Vocabulary

Rating: 5.0

You used to say, I
was your accident, but you smiled
in unspoken words of pain.

Did you ever make
friendship with scorpions? They
don't change their habits.

It was not matched
with tears. Now you will sleep
in my poems, and I sleep on your lips.
