As I fall to my knees
Begging you everything please
You sit there and say
This is it I'm leaving today

My heart cannot handle
All this hurt it has to channel
From there to my brain
It causes nothing
Except numbing pain

I know its real
But I just can't grasp
I thought we were perfect
Like Bonnie and Clyde

But I guess
All your emotions
You wanted to hide
Would not allow such a thing
Like me and you
So I'm left here
