As the shadows fall
And I lose you from my sight
I carry my breath in my hands
Ephemeral breath just to keep me alive
Around me, a silent land
a path, filled with broken glasses
But I can’t walk on these broken glasses
pieces of our story
under my bare feet
I tremble as I tread
and I bleed
But I’ll walk on these broken glasses
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
like moving waters
give life to my steps
I tremble as I tread
I will walk till I find you again
till I the fortress of our History
your love can turn these broken glasses
into weightless sparkles of light
and will save me
