You close your eyes and open the door to the chaos that is your mind,
A reminder of your life and stresses that has unfortunately become your daily grind,
Under the shade of a bloodwood tree you ponder the feeling of being free,
Slowly you start to unwind the ringing in your ears a sign of the frenetic life you've left behind,
With an unquenchable thirst you drink in the silence that surrounds you,
The wild thoughts and restlessness that are part of you slowly start to disappear,
The hours pass by as upon the ground you lie down your body cascades a sense of peace and calm Your troubles and stresses wash away in the heat of the day,
Relaxing you fix your mind on an easier time when life was much less complicated,
You wonder when was it that you had allowed yourself to become so afflicted,
Slowly you open your eyes and take in your surrounds no other person to be seen or found,
Unhindered unburdened your troubles momentarily gone the world a far cry from the one you closed your eyes upon,
Now beauty before you that you had failed to see and in that moment you take in all that lay before you,
A sense of pure enjoyment, for it's true the world each and everyday is a beautiful place to be,
It is just that in this life called a rat race we look but we do not always see.
