Every time I see a church,
I see something special there.
A meeting place of faith
beyond our mortal being.
A place where love is cherished,
across every distant land.
A place of hope not anguish,
somewhere you can stand,
and give thanks for everything you have.
A chapel of love and compassion
with no axe or cross to bear.
A chapel of love and hope,
which is what I see standing there.
Just beautiful and some of us get married there and baptize our children there and more than likely end there. Deep and wonderful is this...~~marci.xo
David, absolutely! It brings the happy loving hearts together...whether it is a chapel away from your home or a church in the sanctity of your own home...God knows no strangers...and He breeds love, compassion, forgiveness... Loved this write, but then, i love everything you write! Theo ;)
Been in touch with your Spiritual side David... A great poem of your faith...10
Extremely well constructed work, David...free-flowing, tight and crisp. You always give us something to nourish our poetic yens...Cheers! FjR
