Charity Poem by djemoi talbi

Charity

33) Charity

It’s generous when you give

More generous when you wish to give

Even a small amount of money, a smile

Or just some one else you forgive

Charity could be of responsibility or love

But a duty for those who, in mercy, they believe

It’s not about what you might gain

Heart relief is the reward to receive

These in need don't need our gifts

It's enough to care or, just, perceive

Who needs whom? Still, is controversial

Yet, giving sometimes is the best gift to receive

The greatest act of charity is charity towards the uncharitable. Kudos poet. Remain blessed.
