Charvaka - Metaphysics



There is no such thing as Atman (soul) .
One does not and cannot perceive Atman.
Inference is not a valid source.
Consciousness is not due to Atman.
Consciousness goes off when death occurs.
It is an emergent quality of physical parts
Coming together in certain proportion.
‘I' is mind not different from the body.
