Cheshire Bargain Poem by L. E. Fignon

Cheshire Bargain

Rating: 2.0

The sound of oceans ringing,
In a wreath of waste and flesh,
Sought Lord James gallivanting,
Timidly beneath a picturesque,

The duchess withdrew her diamond,
To forge her iron heart,
'Let bleed, let bleed, instead,
quite deafening of sort'.
