Child Poem by Ray Hansell

Child

Rating: 5.0

You gave me a child
Born, from the love we share
When I look into his eyes
I always see you there

He resembles his mother
Right down to his blue eyes
And when he flashes his smile
Well, that's the hidden prize

His smile lights up a room
Like the sun lights the day
My special wish as I pray each night
Is for God to protect him along the way
