Christmas Sight Poem by Phil Soar

Christmas Sight

Rating: 5.0

Holly and Ivy
Mistletoe and Wine
Mrs Cuthberts underwear
Hanging on the line
So old they were yellow
And not so devine
Hanging there like jello
And smelly all the time

Camisoles and stays touched by the sun's last rays... Tom Eliot's line always makes me laugh and this is maybe even funnier. I guess I'd better give you a ten. A laugh at this time in the morning is so therapeutic! Tom Billsborough
