Cinquain Poem by Imogene Wagner

Cinquain

I

In Spring
Your memory
Tugs at the corner of
My heart and I am made woman
And smile.

II

I closed
My fingers down
To catch a palmed moon beam
But when I looked it had escaped
Like you.

(November 1948)
