Circular River Poem by O Anna Niemus

Circular River

The snake bites his own tail. Angels show this to Michael
Faraday in a dream
as they tell him molecules can come in rings.
Thus benzene is discovered.

The Ojibwa tell of a circular river, always flowing into itself,
with mouth and delta joined.

Inside these rings and circles..
the omnipresent God's lair.
