City Flood Waters Rising


will write out
your palm print
poem today perhaps

we can quick life flood
you with joy instead
of sad street floodwaters

threatening rising flood
floods neighbours streets
build on high ground sound

hold to high ground
flood waters will pass
hidden wisdom rises
