Citizens Wise Should Seek Escape Measures Poem by Terence George Craddock

Citizens Wise Should Seek Escape Measures

it is not wise to daily media craze pound
pandemic fear into locked down citizens terrorized
policy wise promotes citizens reassured

unwise political leaders were political spin
manipulating data; using spun data
for political gain, profit news headlines,

political responsibility is not a stage spotlight
guaranteed to increase popularity poll positions
political responsibility is calming afraid citizens

politic disinformation was spreading
like a plague public fear was sown
into society; so topic change instead

citizens wise should seek escape measures
safe into distraction hobbies novels movies
safe into shifting a favouite netflixs series
