City Life Poem by Lance Abellon

City Life

City lights running
of my head standing upon headlights;

The glimpse of life the just goes on
upon the groans of engines,

the car horns sounds
that the day is passing,

crying aloud on minds that are found sleeping,

Roads begin to clog
in the midst of the night

Minds stuck in the midst of chaos
Rushing to get to homes to close their eyes to slumber

To life that is passing, on a long road,
never ending.
