[“I am beginning to understand, ' said the little prince. 'There is a flower... I think that she has tamed me...”]― Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince
When Lion loves the Lioness
Never roars
As same as Tiger loves Tigress
never counts her stripes
and Snake kisses the female Snake
never transmits its venom
but the civilized Man?
Postscript
'Short white candle burns
between my rickety ribs
and beloved darns
the torn heart with a silky thread.'
(Quoted from my recent poem 'A dainty flower in the rib cage')
