Claire Poem by fiona evans

Claire

Oh how I miss you
Long for you back
You were the sunshine
That lightened up my day
Though he would never admit it
My father misses you so
You can see it in his eyes
Though it was not meant to be
It does not take away my hope
For you see
You always held a special place in my heart
And that spot is irreplaceable
I loved you
As a step-mother
And as a friend
