Climate Change Poem by Gerry Legister

Climate Change

Earth is small and frail
But this earth is our home
And destruction is not its goal
From the smallest cell were cloned.

But the future resurrected body,
Have no elements of death in it
Nor the harbinger of misery
Impacting rapid oceans with heat.

The change was not a recipe for harm
When the spirit reconnects to the soul
A little piece of life is transformed
As a vapor back into our living world.

Gases in the air, seedtime, and harvest
Temperature rising melting glaciers,
Demonstrators show more interest
From incoherent world leaders.

Global warming, a time of reforming
Catastrophic news is alarming
Running away from landmass eroding
not the answer to heed its dire warning.
