Closed Heart Poem by Jerahmeel Duterte

Closed Heart

Rating: 5.0

I call him a black beast,
He always utter a pledge.
I invariably looking forward,
For the promises he confesses to me.
But it was like a bubble that immediately disappears
He makes my dazzling day into very dusky and caliginous
My felicitous heart closed back,
He will bent his knees for hurting me very much.

Lovely depiction of deceit in bliss of love, well articulated and nicely penned in poetic diction from inner recesses of the heart. Thanks for sharing Jerahmee. Please read my poem THE OBSESSIVE AGONY OF LUST.
