For the benefit of the doubt, I’m not completely useless
My eyes drift away walking their own path
Into the darkness I seek light and constantly
Walking into the wall

Intellectually I know to turn around but there’s only a door
With three locks and one key but the key I have is broken
Reverse the conflict is unquestionable
I’m shattered, I am completely shattered

I must know how Humpty did it
Well he only broke but not even the world’s mightiest
Could rejoin his shell
Terrified, terrified, still trapped in the room with a flashlight…
I forgot my batteries.

On and off, we do find ourself in apparently desperate situations. Very poetic expression of a difficult moment. I am sure you got out in the mean time, using your reason, using perhaps prayer. Every such experience tends to make us stronger. You have really the talent of describing with lots of creative images a situation or feeling. I think you are very talented poet.
