Club Complexity Poem by Lover Forsaken

Club Complexity

Well-wishers thought, it would take a toll,
As I assumed the presidential role,
The job associated was one small aspect,
But the politics is what I did not expect.
I started without any vote-bank,
With honesty only in my tank,
Association cannot be only for the cream,
Democracy of the trivial many was my dream,
It's the vital few that reigned the Association,
They also attracted most of the donation,
That was the strength, they powered on,
With stage-interest, a coterie of their own,
They became bigger than the organization,
Vested interests bragged their dedication.
