Co-Existence With Love Poem by Kishore Kumar Das

Co-Existence With Love

I walk down the street
to find
dogs and hens playing together
searching for food
in the grass field
no animosity
no anger
no greed
they co-exist in love
the beauty of life
narrated in this tiny incident
opposites can co-exist
we may be enemies
at home, workplace, anywhere
but
we can co-exist in love
Love can bind
anger and kindness
beauty and ugliness
good health and sickness
war and peace
life and death
that is the essence of life
world will never be an ideal place
golden era will always be a dream
but we can co-exist in love
let us invoke the blessings
of the Almighty
to bless us with that wisdom
that sets the rhythm
for undercurrent of love
in any conflicting situation.
