Codes Poem by Deluke Muwanigwa

Codes

Rating: 5.0

Life is becoming odd
Everything in code
As soon as the genetic code
Was decoded
It's now the mode
Uniquely identifying you on the road
You dont have to have a character
A string of numeric and alpha numeric characters
Uniquely identifies you
Everything about you
It's a good thing i have an aptitude for long numbers
Even in my slumber
I dream them
Damn!
My identification number in my brain
My driver's licence number adding strain
My cell number
I have to remember
That PIN
That must not be seen
So many cards
It's hard
The anniversary
Unnecessary
If you want peace
Remember piece by piece
No wonder i am forgetful
Resentful
Of codes
Codes and more codes.

Code, road and mode took it to different level altogether. Fantastic poem.

highlighting the frustration of modern life. To live in those simpler times Outside computer codes as well as inside code of DNA. It is just a matter of time before we all becomes clones!
