Coins Of Faith Poem by Liilia Talts Morrison

Coins Of Faith

The sacks are brimming with abundance
when shopping with faith's golden coins
bags overflow with food and shelter
and sturdy clothes to cover loins

There is a magic in that tender
for when no money has remained
the merchant gladly deals a refund
in bright and valued coins of change

No sense for me to hoard that treasure
though few can see its worldly worth
it seems to me the more I spend it
the richer is my day on earth.
