Cold, Blooded Murder Poem by Brandon Park

Cold, Blooded Murder

I walk up the hallway
Sharp left into the kitchen
Grab the knife
And head out the front door

Creep across the street
Head over to his house
Open the door silently
And creep inside

Make a quick left
I see him standing there
With his back turned to me
Slowly creep up behind him

Put him in a headlock
And slit his throat

I let him go
He falls to the floor
Shivering and cringing in pain
Blood spewing out from his neck

I stand over him
Laughing at his weak, almost dead self
I walk out the door
Run back across the street

I go out into the back yard
And bury my weapon
Waltz back inside
Like nothing ever happened

I take a nice, long shower
And head straight to bed
With an evil grin on my face
Knowing I had won
