Colourful Bride Poem by Pratik Amburle

Colourful Bride

It was near further after my marriage
When I saw glossy flowers in the back of a carriage
I fell in love with the idea of nourishing flowers
Thought I shall plant red, white, orange and all of the bloomers

My husband loved my new obsession
And came up with the space for to be my new creation
He got the permit to use the terrace as my blooming ground
And soon there were buckets, feed, mud, pipe and tap inbound

I bought the young saplings from the carriage fellow
And planted them in my buckets with joy and mellow
Days passed by as I watered them daily
Until it was no longer needed as it was rainy

One fine morning I saw a blooming hibiscus
I was jolly and called my family to focus
Everyone was happy and it was my moment
And soon after there were many flowers at my forefront
And so I continued with my horticulture
As a kind and loved daughter of our mother nature.
