They saw, met, fell in instant love,
And cooed together a la dove
In a love of first sight
That for a while burned bright,
Flesh and mind playing part,
Aloof standing the heart,
No pure love, on pedestal,
Eros is what they call.

Love, say some expert behaviourists, is of six types— six each primary and secondary: Eros, Ludus, Storge, Mania, Agape, and Pragma. But in life we find an admixture of these types— more or less. Some classifications recognise only four types: Eros (passionate/romantic love) , Storge (familial love) , Philia (love of friendship) , and Agape (selfless, divine love) . The others: Ludus (playful, not serious love) , Mania (mad love) , and Pragma (practical, mundane love) .

I would like to translate this poem
It is a kind of lightning love! It comes as a flash giving a jolt to the mind and body alike....! But it can disappear also as a flash of lightning in the sky! Such romantic love may not be long lived and it can spark off in an instant usually on first sight! Very well defined!
Yes, indeed you have defined it well, thanks.
