Come As You Are Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Come As You Are

Come as You Are

Come all as you are,
And lose your pretention.
The best I can be,
Is just be me.

Come all as you are,
And the world will be fine.
You'll see the boundaries,
Melt down in time.

Come all as you are,
And lose your image,
Keep the same your visage.
It will be easier for all.

Come all as you are,
And lose all your pretention,
And it will be easy, you see,
For both you and me.
