Come Back And Stay Poem by emerald eyes

If anybody would have told me just three months ago,
that our friendship was to end and turn a no go.
I would have thought he were insane,
and would have told him that it would always be the same.

For our friendship was a gift
that was hard to find
It was a happy song to sing
It was a light to shine.

You were there when my heart felt cold and blue
You'd take me out to swings
I felt committed to you,
and I didnt need a ring.

You promised that our friendship would never end
That it won't change with the changing trends
When we will be happy, When we will face sorrow
We'll always find the other's hand to borrow
They said that a girl and a boy could never be friends
We proved them wrong, we were best friends

But now I doubt
All that we shared
I not sure anymore
If you really loved and cared

Our friendship was supposed to be a circle
and not a broken heart
I should have had no end
Shouldn't be filled with pain and hurt.

Now, My situation is so, I do not have anything to say
Just a hope, that's shattering to ground
That you would come back to stay
and our friendship, once again will be found.
