Compared To Some My Worries Poem by Francis Duggan

Compared To Some My Worries

Compared to some my worries to say the least seem small
In fact I don't have any reason for to complain at all
I could be one of the homeless without enough to eat
And sleeping in a disused factory off of Poverty Street
I am just another battler a stranger to renown
Not one of the materially successful who live on the wealthy side of town
With never enough of money just struggling to get by
Not one of life's successes to me has to apply
Big Brothers many disciples are imperfect and judgemental as a whole
And for everyone they do know of they do have a pigeon hole
But they don't pay your grocery bills your mortgage or your rent
On summing up the worth of people their idle hours are spent
But of the judgements of the judgemental why should I even care
Since of happiness and good luck I do know of my share.
