Comped Nest - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Comped Nest - Lincoln Park Zoo

A lesser green broadbill, a bird,
Flying around Malaysia wild.
As nest builder - super the word,
A work of art with grasses piled
Into a geometric form,
That camoflages nicely so.
Unwanted visitors - not norm,
And little ones can safely grow.
Now here at the Lincoln Park Zoo
As an ambassador house guest,
Habitat stuff - you humans do.
Part of my deal is a free nest.

Come visit the Zoo where I live.
Pretty nice place you humans give.
