Somedays I want the cuddling
Somedays I want the distance
Somedays I can't get enough of you
Somedays I've had enough

Is the heart complicated
Or is love complicated
I sat pondering
Desiring an answer

My faith versus my fear
My desire versus my experience
Slowly but steadily I crawl back into my shell scared of the experience of the past

Is the heart complicated
Or Is love complicated

When will I see you again
I don't want to see you again
I think we can make this work
I don't think this can work
All screeming at me
Begging me to make a choice

Is the heart complicated

I want to be strong
Take another bold step
Come out of my shell of fear
And be her again

But how do I begin
How to I forget all that ever happened
