Complicated Mind Poem by Wendy Bureau

Complicated Mind

Rating: 2.8

Complicated calculations
Of mathematical kind
Unheard of revelations
Born of intelligent mind

Inquisitive of question
Consumed with how? And why?
Surrounded, or self sequestered
To mull over, clarify

Preoccupied of knowledge
Random facts to problems, solved
Intelligence, book smarts, IQ
Life's years, soon quickly dissolve

Simplistic is the symmetry
Mine bodies mind, once did share
Confused by the psychology
Manic depressive, of little flare

Over developed process
Now seems mechanically trained
An outcome or prognosis
Of written thesis, saved, framed

Complicated calculations
Deprivation of knowledge blind
A depiction of disease
OCD, my labelled mind
