Confessed Guilt. Poem by Anne Loo

Confessed Guilt.

How can you see into my eyes
with such a blindness of yours?
You say you can touch with gentleness.
Yet you use those hands for more than that.

How can you love me with your words?
And when you see me on the street you try to fly away like a bird.

I'm so tired of being the one that has to chain you down.
Yet you yourself bounded your own self into your prison.
