Confessions Of A Broken Heart Poem by Silence Dogood

Confessions Of A Broken Heart

Your clouding my mind.
My tangled soul.
Drowning in revenge.
Betrayal and pain.

I cut to feel life.
To feel whole again.
Like my heart is beating.
Like Im taking a breath.

Dead inside.
Shattered glass pieces.
Remenants of what I use to be.
Left overs of a heart never loved.

The truth matters little.
In a life that's come to an end.
The living undead.
Walking the world as a wandering soul.

Lost from what was once reality.
But too lucid to find a fairytale.
Blood poisoned with longing.
For something that doesn't exist.

Hope long gone.
Swallowed by the blackend truth.
Disipated by the reality.
That love is air.

You cannot catch it.
Or hold it in your hands.
But it surround your every being.
And without it you die.

A death painful by lonlieness.
From which theres no escape.
Tortured by longing.
For the warmth of another.

Anticipation creating dreams.
From which love is yours to hold.
But when you wake.
All you are is broken.
