Complications come when we analyse the day
trying to control it to form
but life does not come with a rulebook to show
that the order is formed, set and made

When struggles come in and hope goes out
the battle to control does not take
for the mind is aloof to the plan of the day
like a hole in the head with no brain

Confusion then swirls like a cloud in a mist
surrounding the soul for to steal
and if we give in, we fall from the weight
letting anguish reside with the pain

And the dangers and trials we face every day
take form, so we see, we defray
but mercy will come when we surrender it all
and allow all of grace to take hold

And then in that moment all hope is restored
refreshing the heart, mind and soul
and then on that day when the light is received
we will be all we can and should be
