Confusion Love Poem by Selena Miranda

Confusion Love

Rating: 5.0

Three simple words parted from your mouth...
as though the dam that held them away cracked,
and let your words spill forth.
I felt a blush creeping slowly upon my face,
warming it as though the sun had kissed me lightly...
yet I felt a pain within me as deep as a vortex.
Even though your feelings were sincere,
you were the chest that hid a painful secret of mine...
one that prevented any feelings for you to bloom within my heart.
With the knowledge of your feelings known...
can't you feel the bridge between us?
I feel the pain as the material it was made from...
and think it so long,
I'm not sure I will ever have the courage to cross it.
As the days fly by,
the feeling of a void only grows deeper...
the bridge only longer...
and a confusion so deep becomes engrained within me.

Despite a few errors in spelling I must say WOW. I'm not a big fan of romantic poetry but that was so soulful. EXCELLENT! You get a 10/10 from me!
